Mac Compatibility Issue (upcoming)
I have a Mac running MacOS 26. The Mac runs on an M1 chip. To date, I’ve been able to run TurboTax which works fine with an M1 chip because a separate program, Rosetta, does the “translation” of the program from Intel chips to Apple M chips. I’ve just learned that when MacOS 27 comes out later this year, TurboTax won’t run on my machine unless Intuit updates the program to run “natively” with an M chip (rather than an Intel chip). Does anyone know if Intuit is working on that because, if they aren’t, I won’t be able to buy TurboTax for my 2026 taxes.
