how to delete old notifications or do they delete automatically?

Under the bell icon? Don’t know how far they go back in this new forum. Why do you want to delete them? You can Mark all read at the top of the list. I always liked having them if I need to find one I posted on. Just one of the ways I could narrow down my search for something.

i do mark them as read but after a year the list will get exceedingly long? don’t know about this new platform but under the old one some days I would get over 200 notifications per day during the busy part of the 3/1-4/15 period. if it occurs under the new system without limitation, that would thousands

Could you delete them in the old forum? I don’t recall or never deleted any. I know on some places it would only go back so many pages and stop w hen I was looking for an old post. Guess you should ask a moderator in the lounge.

@VolvoGirl in the old forum, notifications (for me) were via e-mail which could be selectively deleted. The only notifications in the community were PMs which could be deleted. With the new forum i get notifications via e-mails that there’s a new notification in the community. deleting the e-mails does not delete the actual notification.

@VolvoGirl i haven’t found a link to the lounge. I checked every dropdown on this page and even entered lounge in the search box with no results.

Oh emails? I have emails turned off. Never have gotten any. I think the Lounge is on the main Home page under Groups. Click on Home at the top of any screen. Try here….

@VolvoGirl Thank you. Maybe it's me but “Home” takes me to a different page that is not the lounge. However, on that page there is a link to groups. and clicking on that takes to the page where I can access the lounge
