On my Personal Info Summary it reads, "Active duty all year", even though I edited my info as, "I left the military in 2016"

I retired on 1 November 2016. I started collecting retirement checks 30 Nov 2016. I am 48.

It is not necessary to change this. Your answer to this question will not affect your tax return. It will only affect the order in which military-related tax questions are asked in the program.
