We have independent businesses do work at our rental property such as snow removal, A/C replacement, general contracting. Do they all need 1099-MISC forms filled out?

All of our contractors are small business owners and have their own employees, pay their own taxes, etc.  We are a simple couple, not a small business or LLC.

If you are only a landlord and not in the business of renting properties, then you do not need to issue a Form 1099-MISC to an individual or company that performs a service on your rental property.
