Build two-apt duplex in 1994, have lived in one unit since, build garage in 2005 with apt., started renting out garage apt. 1/01/2023. How do i add garage apt. to Sch. E when other apt. has reached 27.5 depreciation has expired?

I think you mean you added a garage onto the apartment and want to know how you set it up for depreciation. If so, you can simply enter the cost of the garage and when it was put into service and it will be deprecated separately from the apartment, on which there is no depreciation left to be deducted.
