Rental property depreciation not carried over from last year. Just the building the other items did carry over.

There does not seem to be any place to add the building itself. I have been using TT for years and this is all saved. Why is it doing this what can I do. I already tried starting my tax return over.

Have you reviewed the Depreciation Report from last year to be sure you didn't expense the other assets rather than add them for depreciation? If you're using TurboTax for Desktop, be sure you are transferring the filed version of your prior year tax file.

If you need to re-enter assets that didn't transfer from last year, you'll need to Depreciation Report to enter the purchase price, date placed into service, and total accumulated depreciation (prior plus current).
