Passive Loss Carryover Error despite entries not violating the given parameters

Like many others, I have had to manually enter Operating loss values for 2 rental properties under the "Disallowed Passive Losses" section for 2023. Then, I'm getting an error based upon this # that doesn't make sense.

For example, for one of the properties under 2023, S - Operating Loss, I input $-62,424.

The program keeps telling me that there is an error because the "sum of losses in individual years should not be greater than the total loss ($-62559).

My entry of $-62,424 IS less than $-62559, correct?

Passive Loss Carryover Error despite entries not violating the given parameters

When you run Smart Check, TurboTax will present a section of Schedule E Worksheet Carryovers to 2024 Smart Worksheet, Disallowed Passive Losses by Year and Type. For some properties, the carryovers are out of sequence. For instance, 2022 is on the 2021 line. Or the 2023 number is on the 2022 line.

This issue has been under investigation, but if you're using TurboTax Desktop, you can correct this directly on the forms.
