Do i enter rental income on sch E and K-1 for an estate

Enter the rental income and expenses ONLY on the Schedule E.

After you're finished with all the entries, they flow to the K-1s for each beneficiary.  This is done automatically by TurboTax -- you don't have to enter the information on the K-1 forms yourself.

To enter information on the rental property, please follow these steps:

  1. Click Federal Taxes > Continue.
  2. In the Rentals and Royalties section, click Start.
  3. Continue through the screens, entering the requested information.
