My self employed expenses will not delete from last year when I am trying to add in this years. How do I make sure it's not adding both 2016 and 201?

Have you tried deleting the entire Schedule C form and then adding the form again. You can delete the form in the delete a form section of TurboTax

  • Login to your TurboTax online account

  • Click Take me to my return or Pick up where I left off

  • Click Tax Tools (located in the left side bar), then Click Tools

  • Click Delete A Form in the Tools Center pop up box

  • Click Delete next to the Schedule C form in the Review Forms List Screen (you may have to scroll down)

After you delete the form, go back and add the Schedule C

  • In the search box (located in the upper right hand corner), type in Schedule C
  • Click the Jump to Schedule C link that appears in the search results
  • This will take you to the area of TurboTax to add the form again.
