Interest on saving bond
You will enter interest received from US Savings bonds in the Income section of TurboTax. You should have received Form 1099-INT for the interest. See the TurboTax FAQ below that provides instruction on how to enter.
***It is important to note to check the box next to "My form has info in more than just box 1 (this is uncommon)", and enter the amount of interest paid on U.S. savings bonds in Box 3 - Savings bonds and treasury int

Interest on saving bond
I sold 109 Savings Bonds Series EE $100. When reporting the interest earned as reported on 1099INT received from the bank, do I have to enter each bond cashed in?

Interest on saving bond
It depends, did you receive one 1099-INT or more than one?
Report the income here:
- Down the left side of the screen, click Federal.
- Across the top of the screen, click Income & expenses.
- Under Your income and expenses, scroll down to Interest on 1099-INT.
- Click Start / Revisit.
- US Savings Bond interest is reported on box 3.
