I would suggest you enter your rental information in the TurboTax program and let the program calculate your deductions correctly on your tax return.
In TurboTax Premier online edition, please follow these steps:
1. After sign into your account, select Pick up where you left off
2. At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in schedule e and Enter
3. Select the 1st choice on the search results - Jump to schedule e
4. Follow prompts
5. On the screen, Review Your Rental Summary, choose Expenses section to enter information
