Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

I own a house in MA, my girlfriend moved in and we share costs. The bulk of that is she pays me about half what her previous apartment cost in rent. My Tax implications?

Her payment is also about half of my mortgage payments, but I've finished paying that off.
Thank you!

The "cost sharing arrangement" is NOT entered anywhere on an income tax return.

You specifically stated "we share costs". Therefore, what you have is nothing more than a cost sharing arrangement. You have nothing concerning this to report on any tax return.
