I got dividends reinvested in my Verizon stock and know the amount. But I have no 2209. When I enter in Turbo Tax it does not take it

I just want the amount to be taken into determination of my income.

What's a "2209?" You seem to be wanting to enter something - dividends?, sale of the stock? - and the forms associated with those activities are the 1099-DIV and the 1099-B.

Add some detail here.

I reinvested my dividends but I was sent a 1099-DIV. Am I required to pay tax on the dividends this year or can I pay the tax when I sell the stock?
