I entered that my rental income comes from a portion of my home but the program is expensing the full cost for utilities, property tax and interest. Not a weighted value

I was never asked the area of my home that is used for the rental. Do I just need to calculate the cost based on percentage of the home or did I miss a step somewhere in the software?

How did you classify the property? Single family home? That could be why. You would want to call it multi-family.
