I earned money streaming on Twitch and got a 1099MISC. TurboTax assumes this is a rental property when i enter the form info (only box 2 is filled), how do i change this?

Twitch is purely a hobby, I barely made the threshold to recieve a payout.

The issuer reported this in the wrong Box.  The income amount should have been reported in Box 3.  Here is a remedy.

1. Log into your account
2. Select Wages and income
3. Less Common income
4. Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099>start
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page to Other Reportable Income
6. Other taxable income, answer yes
7. Then give a brief description of the income and the amount listed. Here say 1099 MISC for Twitch income and list the amount.
