I did not live in USA in 2020, but I sold some stocks with no dividends this year. Should I submit my taxes this year?

Were you a U.S. citizen or resident alien? If you are a nonresident alien who did not live in the U.S. for all of 2020 then you won't have to file a U.S. nonresident income tax if you only have capital gains. Sales of personal property are taxable to the seller's tax home, i.e. your country.

I were resident alien until 2018, but not anymore. I did not live in the U.S for all of 2020.

I had some stock that I sold in 2020, I don´t know if I need to file the tax form just with 1099-DIV and1099-B on hand.
