Do we have to file a Florida State tax if we own a home, and are currently renting it out?

If tangible personal property is used in connection with your rental, you may be required to file a DR-405. Unfortunately, the definition of "tangible personal property" tends to vary among the county property appraisers throughout the state. Therefore, it would be wise to check with your local county property appraiser for precise information.
