There is no place in the program to enter your EIN for this. Please enter your social security number for purposes of your rental property.

Thank you! Turbo Tax isn't allowing me to erase my social security on the schedule E. Do you know how I can do this in order to put my EIN number?
If my Social is tied to the EIN number, can I just leave my social in schedule E?
When I put the EIN number in my schedule E, all of my social security number change to the EIN number including for 1040, schedule B, etc.
Is this supposed to happen?
If you do not operate your LLC as a Real Estate Professional, you are correctly reporting your rental information on Schedule E of your personal return. Schedule E is always reported with your social security number and not your EIN. If you are operating your LLC as a business you should be reporting the information on Schedule C and can include your EIN there.
See Should I report on Schedule E or Schedule C for more information if needed.
Thank you. The problem that I am having now, is when I put my EIN number in (in schedule C or E), turbo tax automatically updates my taxes and replaces my social security with my EIN number.
Should I just leave my social in all forms or leave the EIN number?
You should just leave your social security number on all forms.
Thank you! I appreciate the help!
