In schedule D you have to enter each  transaction that resulted in a short term capital gain or loss (Part I short term)and long term capital gain or loss (Part II long term).

in this for your have to enter proceeds and cost which you get from the 1099 and net gain/loss which you calculate.

If you closed the trade after less than one year, more than one year it is long term.
