California amended return 2022 for financial advisory fees

I submitted an amended California return because I initially did not include the deduction for financial advisory fees. Even though this expense is not deductible at the federal level do I also need to file an amended federal return? TT seems to think so since my refund amount reverted to 0 instead of the amount I was originally refunded.

Simply complete the amendment process then when you review the fed return and  if nothing changes on the federal return form 1040X column B then just don't file it.
