Need help reporting foreign income

I'm in the process of filing my tax return, but I also need to include my income from Japan as I've been working abroad for the past year. Are your live agents experienced in filing Canadian taxes for residents working in Japan or reporting foreign employment income? If not, who do I go to for help?

If you are temporarily working in Japan but have maintained significant ties to Canada (e.g., a home, a spouse, or dependents in Canada), you are still considered a factual resident.

Yes, we can help! Both our Expert Assist and Expert Full Service agents are well-versed in reporting worldwide income, including employment income from Japan.

Requirement: For the experts to call you, you must have a Canadian phone number, as our systems do not support outbound calls from international numbers. If you do not have a Canadian phone number, you will be unable to use these services.

Please note that our TurboTax Online Live/Expert services are not available for non-resident returns.

    Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
