auto-fill my return is not working for my partner's return

    When the CRA "Auto-fill My Return" (AFR) service works for one partner but not the other, it is usually due to browser caching of the first user's credentials, authorization issues, or the partner not having a fully registered My Account. 

     

    • Open a new incognito or private window in your browser (Chrome, Edge, or Safari) and try to run the AFR for your partner again.
    • Clear Browser Cache/Cookies: Clear your internet history, cookies, and cache in your browser settings.
    • Try a Different Browser: If you used Chrome for yourself, try Firefox or Edge for your partner.

    We also suggest trying back later; sometimes CRA servers are busy, which can create an error.
