Your transmission didnt go through

Whenever I go to file it says that my transmission didn't go through and that efile for tax year 2022 is unavailable. I've cleared my cookies and tried using different browsers. And it won't let me clear my return and start over because it says I already paid for turbotax products. Is there anything else I can do or is this a error with turbotax

Same issue with my return. I have a very basic return. I have tried chrome and edge on my computer, also tried chrome on my phone. I tried again this morning at 4:30 am. Same result. Clearing cookies doesn't help.

I WENT BACK IN A COMPLETELY DELETED my state return and resubmitted Federal and it went through finally.

There is an earlier posting that references NCDOR who state that it may be 2/3/2023 before the NC tax returns will be accepted. In my case went back to e-file and selected federal only . It went through cleanly and has already been accepted. The program then flags you that the state e-file has not been accomplished and to come back and try again . My intention is to attempt to file daily until I get success. The program states there’s no errors so it’s NC in my opinion, not a programmatic turbo tax.

Most likely your State is not accepting returns yet, and neither State or Fed is then e-filed.

Here's how to file Federal now and State later: Check MAIL Return instead of e-file, you can then check mail State later, and still e-file for the Federal return. Worked for me and the Federal return was now E-filed. I'll submit the State return when they are ready to accept transmissions.

My forms are all ready but would not transmit (Jan 27th). "Tax Year 2022 transmissions are not available."

In my situation, I believe it is a problem with the NC state form. I noted some other folks from NC having same issue. I set my NC form to be filed later and e filed my federal and another state form I had to file (when it ask you to mail or e file click mail, then you can edit which files to e file, mail or hold till later. Federal and SC state went through. I 'll go back some other time and try to e file NC.
