Transmission Error

The desktop program says "Your Transmission Didn't Go Through" and the explanation is that "there is an update available for your program.  Before you can e-file you'll need to get the update.  To do this, go to the Turbotax menu and select Check for Updates."  HOWEVER, when I check for updates, it tells me that everything is up-to-date and there are NO updates available.  How can I resolve this?

    Are you on Windows?  If your program says it's up to date or you can't update it then do the Manual Update.  This has also fixed the State forms not available problem for some users.

    When I try to send my federal taxes, I get an error message that it was rejected because the AGI dose not match. I checked my AGI and it was correct. What do I do next?

    If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

    Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
