Third Stimulus Check?

Hello, I'm a student that filed their taxes around March 11th. My refund wasn't processed till the 26th and that same night I got my tax return (yay!). Unfortunately, because of the processing time I didn't receive the first wave of stimulus checks on the 17th of march or the 2nd wave on the 26th. This is my first time doing taxes and dealing with the stimulus check. Am I at a loss for getting it? I know I'm eligible and it still says "Payment Status Not Available". Am I being paranoid and it will update when it comes close to a possible upcoming drop?

if you are a student and CAN be claimed by someone else (your parents?), you are not eligible for any of the three  stimulus payments.

Taxpayers that are not dependents of others are the only ones that receive stimulus payments.

Dependents never receive stimulus payments.

I haven't been claimed! 🙂

that isn't the point. it's not that you haven't been claimed, it's CAN you be claimed.

if you parents CAN claim you whether you are claimed or not is immaterial.

if you are a full time student, under the age of 24. living at home all year (and temporarily living at college is still living at home the way the IRS looks at it)  and your parents provide over 50% of your support, you CAN be claimed by them.  (and that 50% is not as simple to calculate as one would think).
