How do you handle a stimulus check that was sent to an ex-spouse for past due child support?  Is it still considered received by the person it was due to?

Yes, if the stimulus money was sent to someone who did not receive it because he had past due child support, it was received by the person.

You should get a Letter 6475 from the IRS showing the stimulus amount that they paid to you. The amount in the Letter 6475 is what you should enter in TurboTax when it asks how much you received.
