Shipt and QBI
Hi, I was wondering if Shipt would be considered as QBI. I was reading the examples given but was still slightly confused if it was considered a QBI or not.

if you get a W-2 it's not. i assume you're compensated for the grocery delivery. in this regard you are no different than any other delivery person which would include self-employed cab. Uber, Lyft drivers, etc. SO if you get a 1099-misc and report as self-employment income, I see no reason this would not qualify for the QBI deduction
