Rejected PIN

My return was just rejected for not having a PIN. I went the the IRS website and got my PIN. I then went back to my return and refiled with the PIN. It is still rejected stating that the PIN is invalid. I know I entered it correctly (tried several times). I have tried calling different IRS numbers but none of the menu options fit my issue and I cannot get a live person on line. Any suggestions?

You will need to use your 2018 AGI,

To view your prior year AGI (you must use the same account used last year - username and password)

    1. Sign In to your prior year TTO account (if your using a different account from last year, your AGI will not transfer)
    2.  Go to the prior year section of  My Tax Timeline,
    3. Click View adjusted gross income (AGI).

    OR

You can obtain a copy of last year's tax transcript online using IRS link:  https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

Thank you for the response. I found my AGI but I do not see anywhere I can apply it.

    2. Select File on the left side menu and continue until you reach the screen titled,  To continue, select from the options below.
    3. Enter your corrected AGI in Enter last year's AGI here.

Same problem.  All the replies have to do with the AGI.  that doesn;t help.

The IRS has eliminated the use of a PIN to e-file your 2019 tax return.  To verify your identity for e-filing will use last year's adjusted gross income (AGI) as your PIN.
