Possible bug: Won't accept 6 digit IPPIN

I must use an IPPIN when I file.  Prior to 2021 this was a five digit number.  For the 2021 tax year, my IPPIN is six digits.  Turbotax does not allow me to enter the sixth digit, so I can't e-file.

Is there a workaround?  Is it a bug and will there be a fix?

I now need to clarify the situation.  The place where I couldn't enter the sixth digit was on the "Sign Your Return" page.  I was able to enter 6 digits in the IPPIN page under Other Tax Situations.  Then when I arrived at Sign Your Return, I saw only the first five digits of the IPPIN.  I don't yet know whether my return was accepted by the IRS.

    Two different PINs

    The 6-digit IP-PIN is in a special place .

You enter it in the Federal taxes section, on the "Other Tax Situations" tab.....down in the "Other Return Info" section

After entering it there, you should be able to efile.

......but during the filing process, there is the regular PIN....you will use either your older 5-digit regular PIN, or last year's originally efiled AGI.

I understand now.  It's a kind of subtle distinction.  It might be good if the Sign Your Return page had some text saying "This is NOT the IPPIN".  Anyway, the return was accepted
