Is there a way to circumvent seeing ALL of the pinned topics on the board?

They take up ALL of the first page and then over half of the second page (after you click “Show more activity “). It’s getting kind of ridiculous.

Otherwise, perhaps get rid of that “Show more activity” button and, instead, bring back the numbered pagination system so those of us who answer questions can skip the pinned posts.

I’ve been looking! The pinned weren’t too bad but now they continue onto the next page “show more activity “. Looks like they are putting all the help FAQ articles. I mostly have liked the new forum but not this pinning.

If this continues, we’ll have to hit the “Show more activity” button multiple times to get to new questions posted by users. The board is just out of control and becoming totally dysfunctional.

Pinned topics are currently taking up the first ~2 ½ pages on the board. Users need to click the “Show more activity” button twice just to get to the first thread posted by a user.

Hopefully, the URL can be incremented if they decide to pin even more topics.

I really don’t get this. They have pinned a bunch of topics that were posted a year ago and have well under 50 views (some don’t even have 12). What’s the point? No one is reading them.

See the discussion above. There are now 50 pinned posts in the tax discussions section. We have to click "Show more activity" twice to see today's posts. Please get rid of all the pinned posts. Find another way to display articles for reference or FAQs.

@ErickaY From what I can determine, the problem is the pinned posts are on the landing page for “Discussions” which encompasses ALL of the various categories (e.g., Taxes, Home loans, Investing, Credit Cards, et al).

It might be a good idea to investigate creating another category for the pinned posts, such as “FAQ” (or whatever you want to call it).
