Middle Class Tax Refund

I just received a form 1099-MISC from the Franchise Tax Board for MCTR (Middle Class Tax Refund). I am concerned that I might have to report this for both state and federal returns. A 1099-G is normally issued to report state rebates, credits or offsets. Anyone else received a 1099-MISC?

This has been so frustrating to say the least. I won’t want to keep trying to push my returns through if they are going to continue to get rejected.

I think you only have 5 times you can push through and then they make you file via mail.

At this point, I don’t know wether to use H&R Block or wait it out with Turbo.

You can call H&R block and see if they are having same issue. Then you'd know if it's just turbo or everyone. They may even have another suggestion on how to move forward.

The middle class refund form is causing Federal and California to be rejected. First was said to be updated on Jan 27 now it says Jan 30th. Anyone have idea what's going on??

Has anyone tried resubmitting yet?

I deleted my 1099 and re-entered, but am afraid to submit until Turbo has announced they have fixed! I’m running out of times to submit, this is really ridiculous and making me think twice about using them again.

This is a turbotax issue. My wifes cousins files taxes for a living. I asked her if she had any issues and she said no. I sent her all my info and she will file them today
