It is too late to file an extension, an extension had to be filed by April 15, 2019. If you are due a refund, there is no penalty for filing a late return. If you owe taxes, the taxes needed to be paid by April 15, 2019. Any taxes not that were not paid by then will incur a penalty & interest until the taxes are paid in full.
