I need a IP PIN number how do I get this since I need to file taxes

Go to this IRS website to request an IP PIN - https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/get-an-identity-protection-pin

If you already received an IP PIN from the IRS but cannot locate in now, go to this IRS website for how to retrieve your IP PIN - https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/didnt-receive-or-lost-your-identity-protection-pin-ip-pin

To enter, edit or delete a 6 digit IP PIN

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Other Tax Situations
Scroll down to Other Return Info
On Identity Protection PIN, click the start button
