Form 7206 (not done)

I entered all the information on Form 7206, but the software still says Form 7206 (not done) with the red explanation mark.  Is it because the IRS form is not ready yet? Is waiting until February 7 the only thing I need to do?

Lol now instead of saying it’ll be done on 2/7, it says “ready soon.” That’s one way to get around setting an available date😂🙄

Well look at that, I was able to file my taxes! Check your account, 7206 should be available (at least it was for me).

I also was just able to complete my return. So for some of us, the 7206 is finally in! To the rest of you, I would continue to try throughout the night.

Woohoo!

The online version updated on 01/31 and the desktop program should update tonight.

The forms availability has been updated to reflect tomorrow.   The program will be updated overnight.   @justwanttofilemytaxes

Form 7206 is now available, but neither my Federal nor my state return can be e-filed with this form included. Will TurboTax fix this (now) or do you plan to refund the value of e-file for the affected customers?

I am having the same issue. The form says it is available for e-file in the status page, but TT tells me I am not eligible to e-file because I have that form.

Is anyone else making it to the very last screen and you’re getting a server error?

Intuit is really getting bad. Their prices are going up and their support is lacking of experience.  It's a joke and this will be the last time I had purchased Turbo Tax. Just so done...

Were you able to efile and put this behind you?  Because, I can't e-file

It’s Feb 8 and TT is telling me that Form 7206, which appears to be completed in the Forms view “is not supported for electronic filing.”  TT is offering to help me file by mail.
What is going on?

Can you file electronically now with form 7206?

No. I just checked it and TT still has the same issue.

It *appears* that the issue is with the TT Desktop version and not the online version.  I have read that people who used the online version have been able to successfully E-File with the 7206 as has customers of HR Block.

I'm going to wait it out until next week to see if TT can get this fixed.  If not, then I will try the online version or move to HR Block

It is 4:14 EST on 2/8/2024. TurboTax forms availability  matrix says form 7206 is ready to e-file, but it is not. I get a message saying "You have form 7206 Self-Employed Health Insurance Deduction that is not supported for electronic filing...." This may be because the instructions for form 7206 on IRS.gov still say they are draft instructions. The watermark on the instructions says "Treasury and OMB use only draft February 6, 2024." TurboTax needs to correct its forms availability matrix and do whatever it takes to make it e-fileable. When it is, please email us.

The final form is available at the IRS website, and has been for two days, for some reason TT techs haven't added it to the 'desktop software'.

Anyway, I already went with HR Block, too concerned with TT this year.
