Where are you?

According to this site, the last community manager to post was Kristina K and that was 4 days ago. LenaH and ErickaY have not posted in over 10 days, which means they have not posted to the new forum yet. Not good folks.

This is a useful link that I got from VolvoGirl.It appears as if there are three Community Managers and perhaps two Experts. If the past is any guide, the Mods don’t work weekends.

A couple of comments:

In a post, in the prior lounge, Ericka indicated that they are “working” on putting together a lounge equivalent. I’m not sure Ericka posts outside of the lounge? And apparently a lounge has not been integrated.
In the post, Ericka indicated that there were to be a number of layoffs. She did not mention who was impacted, so I’m sure that has some impact.
I believe the historical base of TT is changing as a result of AI. To me, I believe the community will become less of a focus and TT will focus more on higher margin services to their filer base.

Except there are THREE Community Managers listed as active and, as stated in my post immediately below, NONE have posted as of yet; not even in the Lounge. ErickaY has also posted outside of the Lounge in the past. In fact her last post was outside of the Lounge.

There is, in fact, a Lounge (obviously only Champs can access it) but, again, none of the Mods have posted to it. I believe one of the Champs posted that it is visible to Champs under the Community dropdown (upper left).

Finally, Generative AI for this is not exactly great. I actually did a Google search for a trust issue and it spit out, inter alia, one of MY OWN POSTS from the TT board. I know this for a fact because it was the exact same language (wording) that I used; as if they scoured the net, found that, and served it to users with the same query.

Frankly, Generative AI is going to be relatively useless for the purposes of a board such as this one in the short term (as in the next several years). What will be a gamechanger for taxpayers is Agentic AI where you would be able to tell the agent to file your return and give the agent the pertinent information (e.g., name(s), address,SSN, tax/financial statements, et al). Then the agent will grab the correct IRS forms and file for you. I think that might be a few years out (and maybe more than a few).

Actually NO MANAGER has made even ONE POST to this new forum as of this date (June 13th) and there are issues that need to be addressed.

@ErickaY any insight to direction of the new site, lounge equivalent, number of staff during the summer working the community, etc.?
