I have an LLC with a partner and was planning on using the TurboTax Home and Business software to file LLC taxes. I am confused if my partner and I need to file a return separately or if we would file just one return? We had gotten an extension for the 1065, and need to know if I need to buy two copies of the software or if one would suffice. Thanks

Sorry but the Home & Business program is just for personal 1040 returns that need Schedule C for self employment.
You need Turbo Tax Business to do the Partnership 1065 return.
The small business program (TT Business) is for 1120 Corporation, 1120S Corp, 1065 Partnership or 1041 Estate/Trust returns and will not do your personal 1040 return. It is a separate program from the Desktop Home & Business program or the Online Self Employed version.
Turbo Tax Business is not available to do online or on a Mac. You can buy the Window's version here. And you can have both TT Business and TT Home & Business (or any personal version) installed on your computer at the same time.
