IP PINs for dependents

What rejection code is used when the rejection cause is due to the dependents having an IP PIN? The situation is a taxpayer had an identity theft issue, he has two dependents. This tax year, he got an IP PIN. His return keeps getting rejected for missing IP PIN. He said the dependents don't have numbers and he is confused.

IND-996 is the common reject code for missing. If it is HIS pin is being rejected it could be because he is not entering the correct IP PIN. The IRS is now issuing a new IP PIN every year.
