The overtime premium—the extra you earn above your regular rate—is now tax-deductible for some taxpayers.    For example, if you earn $20 per hour, your overtime rate is $30. The $10 difference is the overtime premium. With tax law changes for 2025–2028, you don't have to pay federal income tax on that extra $10.   You can deduct up to $12,500 per year ($25,000 if Married Filing Jointly).   More OT info
I made zero changes and kept resubmitting.  It was finally accepted after midnight.  What the heck! Then there was no issue to begin with but the system making me late for all I can tell.

A new roof is generally not directly tax-deductible as a current expense on your federal income taxes because the IRS considers it a capital improvement. However, you can add the cost to your home’s "adjusted basis," which reduces capital gains tax when you sell. Energy-efficient roofs may qualify for tax credits.  See the following link for more info: Energy Incentives for Individuals

This problem has not been corrected. It STILL does this, years later.  If there's taxable income listed in box 2a , it should be carried over to as taxable income on the 1040. Turbo tax will not do this. It will as if it's a ROTH conversion, and then transfer the full amount over whether the 1099-R says it's taxable or not.    It's not that complicated, Intuit, if there's a taxable amount in box 2a-- transfer it over to the taxable amount line on the 1040!
Try to delete the zero and leave it blank.    What category did you use for box 14?  Other (Not Classified)?    What's box 14 on my W-2 for?
