your e-mail address is not used for verification purposes by the IRS.  It only matches your prior year's adjusted gross income and SSN as provided on your 2025 filing to those on your 2024 return.  if you filed late (after 10/15/2025) try zero for prior-year AGI. if timely, round AGI to a whole number. 50 cents or more is rounded up to the next whole dollar, 49 cents or less is dropped (The IRS does allow rounding of all $ amounts entered into your return following the above rule. thus AGI will be a whole number)  If you filed 2024 on time, the IRS wants the AGI from the original return, not any amended filings.      Sometimes, for reasons unknown, nothing works. In that case you'll have to mail your return folloowing the filing instructions provided. Use a tracking method so you'll know that the IRS got it, but it may not be processed that day. It will sit in a mailbag until the IRS gets to it and if you check before it is processed, the iRS will say they never got it. .

It depends. Prescription costs can only help your tax return if your total medical expenses are more than 7.5% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) and you itemize deductions.    Prescription drugs are allowed as a medical expense, but you only get a tax benefit if all your medical costs together are high enough to pass that 7.5% threshold. If your medical expenses are less than that, you won’t get a deduction for them.   If you want to find out more about other deductible medical expenses, click this link.

@ steven-banko  wrote: "How do I import 2024 computer filed tax return and 2025 computer files tax return so they can be viewed from my Iphone app?"   "computer filed tax return"     I'm not completely clear on what that means.   Did you use 2024 and 2025 desktop software installed on your computer?    If so, did you use the Windows or Mac version?   If the 2024 and 2025 returns were prepared on your computer, what iPhone app are you referring to?   And are you wanting PDF files prepared in the 2024 and 2025 desktop software for a file upload to your phone?   Why did you use the term "import?"   You may need to explain more about what you want to do.

You didn't say if you had already filed the MN return or not.  If your return is still in preparation, the steps below will ask you to pay for it first before you can download/print.   You can view/print/download a choice of PDFs.  To get the larger PDF with the worksheets you have to open your return interview back up and go to the Print Center as I'll explain in detail below.   NOTE:  When you open your return back up, do not make any changes in it if it's already been filed.  If you later have to amend the return, it has to start off exactly as it was when it was originally filed.   Likewise, if the Federal return has already been filed, do not make changes on the Federal side.   Log in, and at the Tax Home or in/near the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents" for 2025, look for a link/button Add a State." Click on "Add a State."  (you don't really add one.  That's just to open your return back up.) After the return interview is open, click in the left menu column on the tab TAX TOOLS, then PRINT CENTER. Then choose "Print, save, view this year's return." The next screen should ask what you want in your PDF:  Federal. state, or both (I always save both--just in case) and offer some options:  "Just my tax returns", or "include government worksheets (optional)", or "include government and TurboTax worksheets (optional.)"  The latter has the most pages. NOTE:  Remember all PDF tax documents and tax data files are very sensitive files, since they contain your personal ID info, financial data, and possibly bank account numbers, etc.  Be sure to store them safely and securely to guard against computer theft, hacking, etc.

There are a lot of possible reasons for rejections, and you didn't specify one.    If you name the rejection error code/message, someone may be able to comment to help you either resubmit the efile or to file on paper in the mail.   Secondly, is this a married joint return or a single taxpayer?   Thirdly, are you due a Federal refund, or do you owe taxes due?  If you are sure you are getting a Federal refund, there is no penalty for a late Federal return.

To print a receipt for your TurboTax fee payment, you can check your email for the payment confirmation from TurboTax. This email typically includes the transaction details and serves as your receipt. If you can't find the email, you can also access your receipt by logging into your TurboTax account, going to your Account settings, and then navigating to the Purchase history or Order history section. From there, you can view and print your receipt. This is the usual way to get a receipt for TurboTax fees.

You may have an amount already entered somewhere else on your return.   What worksheet are you entering it on?    Elective deferrals from your W-2 are automatically captured when you enter the W-2 and do not need to be entered again.   If you are self-employed, have you entered your self-employment income?    @Dugshev

The IRS CP2000 notice indicates differences between your tax return and income reported by other sources. TurboTax doesn't provide support for responding to CP2000 notices unless you purchased the Audit Defense service through TaxAudit. If you have Audit Defense, you may get full audit representation and assistance with your CP2000 notice. TurboTax doesn't assist with CP2000 responses; it's your responsibility to respond to this notice. To respond: 1. Review the notice carefully. 2. Follow the instructions on the notice regarding how to respond. 3. Use the specific address or phone number shown on the notice to reply. 4. If included, complete, sign, and return the Response Form. 5. If you disagree with the proposed changes, send a signed statement explaining why along with any supporting documents. 6. It comes after the 1099-Q interview.   Click continue at the 1099-Q summary screen. The next screen should be the Nondependent student information summary.  Be sure to answer all the yes/no questions in the 1099-Q interview (mostly no). Leaving some unanswered seems to "upset" TT.  Be sure to enter a student name in the 1099-Q section.    I have desktop Deluxe. It could be that online is different/still broken.   You might try deleting the 1099-Q and starting over and use the alternate entry point.  The 1099-Q can be entered either at: 1. Federal Taxes Tab  Deductions & Credits -Scroll down to: --Education   --ESA and 529 Qualified Tuition Programs (1099-Q)   Or   2. Federal Wages and income    Scroll down to:  -Less Common Income    -Miscellaneous Income 1099-A, 1099-C (Press start)     -On the next screen, choose ESA and 529 Distributions (1099-Q)
Call the number on your notice.
