I suggest you run the Federal, State and Final Reviews again. They seem to be able to find hidden issues that you may not see. Be sure that you correct all of the issues.

The refund on here was for $1096.00, I know they’ve had a lot of delays but 8 weeks seems like a long time.

A class action lawsuit settlement normally should be reported on Form 1099-MISC, not Form 1099-NEC, if it is for damages or other miscellaneous income rather than nonemployee compensation. Form 1099-NEC reports nonemployee compensation for services or work you performed as an independent contractor or business owner. If you received a 1099-NEC for a class action settlement that is not for nonemployee compensation, it would generally be more appropriate for the payer to issue Form 1099-MISC instead. For tax reporting, enter the payment from the settlement under the 1099-MISC income section in TurboTax, unless you are sure it fits the nonemployee compensation criteria reported on 1099-NEC.
To enter Form 1099-NEC in TurboTax Online:
Go to the Wages & Income section.
Select Add income or Add a 1099 form.
Choose Form 1099-NEC from the list.
Enter the details exactly as shown on your 1099-NEC form.
Answer the questions to confirm it’s self-employment income and enter any related expenses if applicable. To enter Form 1099-MISC in TurboTax Online:
Return to the Wages & Income section.
Select Add income or Add a 1099 form.
Choose Form 1099-MISC from the list.
Enter the amounts from the boxes on your 1099-MISC form.
TurboTax will ask if the income is related to self-employment. Answer appropriately to link it to the correct place on your tax return. Make sure to review all entries for accuracy to match your forms exactly.

If you did not receive a refund for your overpayment, the IRS most likely applied that balance as a credit toward your 2025 estimated taxes. You can report this on your 2025 tax return as a 2024 overpayment applied to 2025 estimated tax. To confirm this, you should access your tax transcript through the IRS online portal.
As for the 1099-INT, they consider this interest to be taxable income in the year it is credited to your account. Even if you never received a separate check for the interest, the IRS likely added that amount to the total overpayment credit sitting in your account. But again, this should be confirmed by looking at your transcript on the IRS portal: Online account for individuals | Internal Revenue Service

You may correct the entry based upon the information in your personal investment records.
Does correcting the date change the transaction from short-term to long-term or long-term to short-term? If so, the Sales section may have to be updated, as well.
Retain your personal investment records with your tax return information should a tax authority have a question about the transaction at a later time.

Most of the issues with credit card payment issues are often from billing address mismatches, browser security settings, or bank authorization issues. To resolve this in TurboTax Desktop:
Ensure your desktop software is fully updated to the latest version.
Run as Administrator: Right-click the TurboTax icon and select "Run as Administrator" to ensure it has proper permissions.
Clear Browser Cache: Clear the cache/cookies of your default system browser, as the application uses it for secure transmission.
Disable Pop-up Blockers: Temporarily disable browser extensions or antivirus programs that might block the payment popup.
Match Billing Address: Ensure the billing address on your credit card matches the mailing address in your Tax Return exactly. If not, temporarily update your "My Info" address to match the card, pay, and then update it back.
Use Another Payment Method: If the issue persists, consider using a direct debit (ACH) or paying via check.

I entered my military 1099R on my income taxes and when I tried to file, it was asking me about an entry on line 14a (I don't have a line14a) on my 1099R. If I entered the $480, the amount I paid in taxes, and it gives me an error. When I entered 0, it increase my State taxes by the 480. So I am paying double for my taxes. How do I get the question about entering a number on 14a to go away or what do I entered in that box? Did I choose the wrong 1099R type when I entered the information. Thanks CS

Entra a tu cuenta
Ve a Pagina de inicio
Selecciona Deducciones y créditos
Selecciona Editar/agregar junto a Gastos y becas (Formulario 1098-T)
Para más información acerca de los beneficios de educación que están disponibles y los requisitos para calificar, visita los siguientes enlaces:

Yes, you can expense under non-incidentals, but no, it is not the purchased inventory in 2025, it is the sold inventory in 2025.
Because your boutique generates less than $1 million annually, you qualify as a small business taxpayer, which allows you to bypass the inventory accounting rules required for larger corporations. Under the current IRS guidelines (Section 471(c)) you are permitted to treat your clothing inventory as "non-incidental materials and supplies." While this simplifies your record-keeping, it does not typically allow for a cash basis deduction where you expense everything the moment you buy it. Instead, the IRS requires that non-incidental supplies be deducted in the tax year they are consumed or used in operations.
In a retail context, "consumed" means the moment the item is sold to a customer. This means you generally cannot expense the wholesale cost of every item purchased in 2025 unless those items were also sold in 2025.

The TurboTax desktop software itself does not have an option to clear cookies or cache because it runs locally on your computer and does not use a web browser cache like the online version. If you experience issues, the best troubleshooting step is to restart the TurboTax desktop application and your computer. You may also try reinstalling the software if problems persist. Clearing browser cookies and cache applies only to the online TurboTax product accessed through a web browser, not the desktop version.
For entering and reviewing your 1099-NEC in TurboTax Desktop, the "Needs Review" message often indicates missing or inconsistent information. To address this: 1. Go to the Wages & Income section. 2. Find the area for Self-Employment Income or specifically 1099-NEC. 3. Select Start or Update next to Business Income and Expense (Schedule C). 4. Carefully review your entries for any missing amounts, incorrect payer information, or mismatched totals. 5. Confirm you have correctly entered all forms received. Make sure all fields match your 1099-NEC exactly, including payer details and amounts. Inconsistent data causes "Needs Review" status.
