This is the third year since I retired. As a long-time TurboTax user, I am dedicated to the product. However, I am speaking out for other retirees. Through several LONG tech support calls, I pointed out a problem starting with tax year 2023 with Utah Code 23. The questions for state filing DID NOT ask about this TAX CREDIT that gives you back nearly $200 for your Medicare Part B payments. In 2024, I looked for a change. The TurboTax questions made vague reference to medical insurance, but I only knew to pursue Code 23 because I had found it in the 2023 version. Now, in 2025, the questions NEVER even brought up the vague references from 2024. After completing my federal form, I went directly to UT forms and never was asked about this. By looking at the Utah tax website, I saw that it clearly was still a valid TAX CREDIT. I then manually went to the TC-40A Form and added it under Code 23, getting $199 off my tax bill. Please fix this!
