One of my child is not a US citizen and has ITIN, is that the reason she doesn't qualify for Child Tax Credit?

I have been checking the IRS "Where is my Refund" site. After putting in my required information I was able to view my IRS Tax return "Refund Status Results" and it changed from "Accepted" to "Sent". The IRS stated on their website the refund was sent to my bank on February 19th 2026. However, today is February 20th and it is not showing in the Credit Karma account that Turbo Tax marketed that if I used I would receive my refund 5 days earlier than if I did not use them.  According to the promise made that if I used their "Bank" I should have received my funds direct deposited into the Credit Karma Bank on February 14th.   With this Broken promise or false advertising to get you to sign up with their bank using misleading statements to gain my business. Is there a way to dispute the Turbo Tax charges or is Turbo Tax going to refund the money Turbo Tax charged to correct their misleading  advertising?

No, you do not need to amend your 2024 return. Marking “Yes” on Schedule B, Line 7a when you don’t have any foreign accounts is seen as a minor administrative mistake. Because there’s no unreported income or missed FBAR filing, the IRS won’t penalize you for it.

2025 TurboTax Premier is not transferring vehicle information and depreciation from the previous year. I started putting the information in manually but soon was asked questions I wasn't sure of like total depreciation. I have copies of my returns from those years so I know special depreciation was used the first year but no clue how to calculate what number to put on total depreciation. Please advise. Hopefully someone will tell me that an update will take care of this.

Which tax year were you amending?   The Form 1040-X for amending a 2025 federal tax return is estimated to be available in TurboTax on 02/25/2026

Thank you Amy for your response. Unfortunately that's not options I see in Do It Yourself Premium Web version:   1. When asked for the category, select Tools, Machinery, Equipment, Furniture. I have "Tools, Machinery, furniture"   2. On the next screen, select Appliances, Furniture, Equipment (5-year) There is no "next screen". There is drop down on the same screen "Office, furniture and appliances"   3. When it asks "Tell Us About This Asset," enter the name (Dishwasher), the cost, and the date. That's on the 1st screen   4. Check the box, I purchased this asset There is no such checkbox   5. Check, Yes, 100% for business, enter date used - probably 12/3/2022 Yes, that's what I select on the initial screen   6. Select mid-quarter convention That's not an option on any screens I get.   Next I see following screens: Screen 2: Screen 3: Question whether I claims Section 179 deduction, which I answer "No" Screen 4: Question about Special depreciation deduction allowance, which I answer "No" Screen 5 with incorrect calculation: I tried correcting value here to $262.   On final review screen amount is incorrect.

Use this method to report your interest to bypass the FEIN requirement.   Go to Federal > Wages & Income. Scroll to the very bottom to Less Common Income and select Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C. Select Other reportable income at the bottom. Answer Yes to "Any Other Taxable Income?" Description: Enter "Foreign Interest - [Bank Name, India]". Amount: Enter the total in USD. This will place the income on Schedule 1, Line 8z, which flows to your 1040 without requiring a FEIN. If you paid foreign tax on this, here is how you may file to receive a Foreign Tax credit.   Navigate to the Credit Section: Go to Federal > Deductions & Credits > Estimates and Other Taxes Paid > Foreign Tax Credit. Initial Questions: * Select Yes to "Did you pay foreign taxes?"  Select Yes to "Before we begin, have you already entered all your foreign income?" (You did this in the "Other Reportable Income" section). Choose the Credit: On the screen "Do you want the deduction or the credit?", select Take a Credit. If it asks if wish to take the simplified election, say yes. Income Category:  Select Passive Income (this is the correct category for bank interest) .Add the Country: Click Add a Country and select India. Report the Income (Part 1): * On the "Other Gross Income" screen, enter a description (e.g., "Indian Bank Interest") and the Total USD amount of the interest.  Continue through the screens (skipping expenses and losses if they don't apply) until you reach "Foreign Taxes Paid - India". Enter the amount of foreign tax you paid in the Foreign Taxes box.  Select the Date Paid (or the date it was withheld).

My 2024 1099-Int value is almost $2400 more than the correct value in TurboTax 2025. I transferred my return from 2024 TurboTax. when I started a new 2025 Tax Return in TurboTax. It seemed to go well until I noticed the error. I opened TurboTax 2024 and verified my expected value. I suspect the incorrect value from 2024 should not be an issue filing my 2025 return, but would feel better if I could correct it somehow. It is useful to have the comparison between 2024 and 2025 data. Can this be fixed? I have the latest version of TurboTax.
