What are you looking at? Is this a printout of your return after you filed? Are you seeing account and routing numbers that you don't recognize at all? Was the IRS refund supposed to go directly from the IRS to your bank account (or card), or did you use of these options: Did you pay your product fees out of your refund, or did you pay upfront with credit/debit card? Did you select the "Up to 5 days early" option? Did you have a Refund Advance? Those options use third-party intermediary banks to first receive your funds from the IRS.

This year, the answer is that there is a glitch with K1s and I have to pay for help. Is this true? It is a simple K1 and the form won't upload either. I've had this same K1 for many years.

Customer Service doesn't use email, but we can tell you how to ask for a refund for one of the products if you have paid twice. By resetting your "return amount" are you referring to a Federal refund? A "return amount" could also be taxes due. I suspect you meant to say refund amount changed to $0, but you should clarify. The desktop Deluxe has the advantage of being able to view forms at any time and also to print at any time. In spite of what you were seeing on screen, did you look at the forms? Were the figures correct on the viewed or printed copy of your Form 1040? Or was the Form 1040 itself also incorrect and showed the $0 figure on Line 34? Where exactly were you seeing that the Federal refund reverted to $0 at the end for each of your returns? Was that in the refund meter at the top of the TurboTax screen, or was it something shown on the screen as you advanced, i.e., on some kind of summary page after the error check? If it was something on a summary screen, can you explain more about what screen it was? Some of the summary screens can sometimes be confusing as to how they display their info. Or you can post a screen shot here in this thread, but if you do, be aware that this is a PUBLIC Internet forum, so be sure you carefully redact anything that is personal info from the image. If it turns out that it can't be easily explained, the TurboTax Employee Experts who post in this forum may ask you for a diagnostic copy of one of those return files. When the program sends a diagnostic copy, it scrubs out the personal information from the return and sends just the figures so they can troubleshoot. Then it provides a token number for you to post here for the expert. That token allows them access to the scrubbed file you sent them. Don't do it unless/until they ask for it. If they need one, they'll tell you how.

Divorce decree was from 2012. Mofication final in 2023. Alimony was taxable to me starting in 2012- when Divorce agreement was final. Modification final, began in 2018, in 2023 reads "The Court intends that alimony should continue to be deductable to Father and taxable to Mother. If the fathers alimony tax dediction should be disqualified, then either party may seek to modify the alimony the Father is obligated to pay to the Mother" Alimony amount was signifigantly changed at the 2022 modification. I did pay tax on the alimony received in 2022. Was this correct? If not, if alimony isnt taxable- based on the Judges wording- should I amend my 2022 return? I stopped getting alimony in 2024.

Last year, I used Turbo Tax Deluxe with hardly any problems. This year, I purchased and installed the 2025 version of TurboTax Deluxe. My girlfriend does her Federal Single filing with it, and it shows her Federal refund amount (let's go ahead and call it $900). Near the end, she gets to a final check page and it resets her Federal refund to $0. It would not revert back to the original amount going back in the process, either. She redid her whole filing process from scratch again, and it did the same thing. Then, I tried it for my Federal Single filing. Different Windows computer. Installed TurboTax Deluxe. I get near the end as well, and at the same step, it resets my Federal refund to $0. Finally, I try using TurboTax Online for my Federal Single filing. Absolutely no issues. It doesn't reset me down to $0 at all. There is something bugged with TurboTax Deluxe, I believe. I had to double-pay; once for TurboTax Deluxe and once for the options on TurboTax Online (that will be something I'll deal with separately by emailing customer service). Is this happening to anyone? *Updated to fix wording based on first reply. **Will work through the process again on TurboTax Deluxe to find the exact moment when this happens, then will post it in a new reply.

Wells Fargo Clearinghouse suddenly does not have a "continue" button. When trying to import from Wells Fargo Bank, the little dots (indicating data transfer) go from TurboTax to Wells then go back to TurboTax once and I am suddenly returned to the screen with a continue button. This happens on Firefox, Chrome and Edge with or without disabled antivirus and running as a user or admin. A TCPDUMP of the transaction doesn't indicate a transmission problem, more like a programming problem with either WF or TTax.. Various combinations of deleting and re-creaitng Intuit as a managed app in the WF login program have no effect on the problem. Schwab and one other institution work flawlessly. Any ideas??
