Does "my taxes say" refer to the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool? https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund If you efiled your return, and if the efile was accepted, and it's been more than 24 hours since acceptance, you can use that tool to monitor a Federal refund. You must use the correct SSN, correct filing status, correct tax year, and the Federal refund amount shown on your Form 1040, Line 35a. Look at your actual return Form 1040 to get that figure. To double-check that your efiled return was accepted, log in and at the Tax Home you should be able to see the status--accepted, rejected, printed, started, etc. Does it show as accepted?
