I paid over $3,000 in interest in 2025 but it's showing my deduction is $0.

You do not get a "rebate" of the interest paid.  You do not pay tax on the amount of income equal to the car interest.  The interest goes on Schedule 1a.  The deduction appears on line 13b of your Form 1040.     TurboTax does not support Form 1040NR, so do not try to use TT.   Use its partner, Sprintax.   If you are a non-resident alien, your return must be filed on Form 1040NR, which cannot be prepared using TurboTax.  You can use TT’s partner, sprintax:   https://www.sprintax.com/non-resident-alien-tax-1040nr-turbotax.html   IRS —HOW TO DETERMINE RESIDENCY STATUS FOR TAX https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/determining-an-individuals-tax-residency-status#:~:text=If you are not a,January 1 – December 31).       HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD $23,625 (65 or older/legally blind + $2000)
I used AGI of 211, 000. If I read law right. I would multiply 61,000 × .06 and subtract from $12000 since married filing jointly.
If you have not e-filed you can go back to MY INFO and click your son's name and go through the interview questions again to make changes.

Hi, I already filed my 2024 Tax (via e-file) and got accepted on both federal and state. I figured out I was fraud in 1095-A (long story, but in short, my wife was billed for insurance premium without any consent). I contacted to VA Insurance Marketplace and got the VOID 1095-A form. I still have the Turbo Tax 2024 on my PC. What do I need to do to declare this VOID 1095-A form? I tried to have delete the form and it did not show me the 1040X.

No do not change box 7.  After you enter the 1099R it will ask what you did with it and then you enter the amount you rolled over.   Did they take any tax withholding out of the check?  Then you would have to replace the withholding from your own money or the withholding will become taxable.

You’re right that it’s impossible to have zero exposure in modern life. That’s not the goal. The issue isn’t whether data exists somewhere — it’s how many copies exist, who controls them, and under what terms. Every additional party that stores your data increases: the number of attack surfaces the number of policies you don’t control the chance of misuse, breach, or secondary use Saying “my data is already out there” is like saying “I already drive on busy roads, so seatbelts don’t matter.” You still reduce risk where you can. Intuit isn’t special because they’re uniquely bad — they’re just another unnecessary custodian of sensitive data. Avoiding that doesn’t eliminate risk, but it does reduce it, and that’s the entire point of security and privacy best practices. Risk management isn’t about perfection. It’s about not making the problem worse by choice.

I had an IRA account with Chase Bank. I asked for it to be closed in order to roll it over to a Bank of America Merrill Edge IRA.  Chase insisted on sending me a check even though I told them I had 60 days to roll it over into another IRA.  I went ahead and within one week, I funded the account with Merrill Edge as a roll over.   I have now received the 1099-R form from Chase, and box 7 is marked with a 7 (normal distribution) Since this is considered a direct distribution to me, my taxes amount increases.  When I enter the information on Turbo Tax 1099-R, can I change the entry in box 7 to a  G, which indicates a roll over?
