A final return is required for the year the individual died.  So if someone died in 2024, and had taxable income or reporting requirements, a return would need to be filed for 2024 by April 15th or with an extension.  Death does not change the due date.
To verify what you claimed last tax year, you can consult your tax year return or have a look at your Notice of assessment received by CRA.   Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
@PatriciaV    States in file are Colorado (resident state) and West Virginia (non-resident)

Have you gone through the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion (FEIE) interview?   Once you answer a few questions about your residence and foreign income, TurboTax will ask you if you want to exclude the income.   If you select YES, TurboTax will prepare Form 2555 instead of Form 1116.  When you reach the screen Do You Want the Deduction or the Credit? select the deduction.     How to add or remove a Form 2555 or 2555-EZ - Use these instructions to select the deduction and to use Form 2555.     Do I need to report foreign income?  If you lived and worked in a foreign country, you might qualify for the foreign income exclusion. We'll ask questions to see if you qualify after you've entered your foreign income.   Follow the steps to Add Form 2555.

Yes, I checked with them..
If you're not registered for GST/HST then you would include GST/HST on your expenses.

@petergrosse We already answer your question in another thread. Here is the answer we gave you:   In some situations, splitting pension income is not always recommended. When you split your eligible pension income, it will reduce your income and your taxes. For your spouse, it's reversed situation. It will increase their income/taxes and, sometimes, may impact certain tax credits/benefits they may be eligible for.   If you are experiencing issue with split pension, we will need you to clarify.   Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

If you've made over $3500 in total, you should enter that income as self-employment. If it's less than that, you can enter it as Other Employment Income (search for "Tips").
