If you use the Online version you need Premium to report capital gains.  If you buy the Desktop program you can use any version. All the Desktop propgrams have the same forms, you do get more help in Premier for sales.   With the Desktop program you get 1 free State program download.  NH doesn't have a state income tax.  So you can download  Maine as the free state.  Then it is $25 to efile a state return or you can print and mail state for  free from the Desktop program.
It would be the final return of a small estate. No income just a checking account.

First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery/ If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online. You can also request a transcript from the IRS https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

When I went to start my 2025 return of the Desktop software, I noticed that the refund number from 2024 was wrong.  When I pulled up the 2024 return, it was missing 95% of the data that was included in the return I actually filed.  When I go to print out the 2024 return, only the wrong version prints out.  Where did the correct data go?  Is there a way to revert to the correct 2024 return data for the transfer?
TurboTax has not yet been updated for the deduction for overtime. It is tentatively expected to be available January 15. That date is subject to change.
Looks like someone at the IRS woke up and took the IP PIN webpage offline again.
