Can you please clarify your question so we can assist you further?

Surprised the European community hasn't sued MS yet to get a 5 year support extension. I guess tariffs and the Ukrainien war is top of their minds. Hopefully they get their act together before it's too late. It's estimated over 720 Million computers will become obsolete in October 25. By the way checkout the method of updating Windows 10 to 11 by using either setup.exe /product server or setupprep.exe /product server. Has only a few glitches, but other then that my older test computer upgrade seems to be running Windows 11 OK. BUT will Turbo Tax 2025 work on it ?
What reward?  This is a forum for tax returns.  Mainly about filing and refunds.

I would like to take a deeper look at this. However, I need a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:   TurboTax Online: Sign into your online account. Locate the Tax Tools on the left-hand side of the screen. A drop-down will appear. Select Tools On the pop-up screen, click on “Share my file with agent.” This will generate a message that a diagnostic file gets sanitized and transmitted to us. Please provide the Token Number that was generated in the response. TurboTax Desktop/Download Versions: Open your return. Click the Online tab in the black bar across the top of TurboTax and select “Send Tax File to Agent” * This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created.  Click on OK and the tax file will be sanitized and transmitted to us. Please provide the Token Number (including the dash) that was generated in the response. *(If using a MAC, go to the menu at the top of the screen, select Help, then, “Send Tax File to Agent”)   @cindy-zhangheng

@dejwal , from your post , I am not sure  that I understand the whole situation.  So could you please answer the following: (a) are you a US person ( citizen/GreenCard ) ? (b) are you saying that your tax home is in the UK and have been so for a year i.e. you now meet the Physical Presence Test and therefore need to amend your already filed return for 2024 ? (c) your employer in the UK is a private entity ( and under contract  to  US defense dept  or similar ) ? (d) should I assume that you filed your 2024 return by April dead line because you owed  taxes  or what ?   I will circle back once I hear from you --yes ?
Please mail in the tax return as it is printed from TurboTax. You can attach the court certificate after the last page of the printed return.   @s d l

Although you may need to confirm this with the attorney:   It sounds like there is a wage portion reported on a W-2 and a non-wage portion reported on a 1099-MISC.  That means you should answer "not wages" for the 1099 portion.    Also note, that in some cases, the 1099 portion might be completely non-taxable.  For example, if you were injured at work, and received compensation for the injury plus lost wages, the injury compensation is almost never taxable at all, even if it is reported on a 1099.  We would need to know more about that to help you further.
