Yes, you can enter the total for each expense type. Just make sure you have the receipts in case the CRA asks for more details.
Has this error been fixed? as I am having problems now
@DillonConod You can get your NETFILE Access Code (NAC) in your CRA MyAccount.    You can also submit your return without the NAC. The NAC is optional and not required to file your return.
Thank you very much.

Thanks again GordoD! I was on the verge of giving up.  I did as you suggested and moved all the T-3 capital gain amounts into box 52 and out of box 53.  And then.... I e-filed my return successfully! BUT Now it won't permit my to file my husband's return!  It says, " To accurately calculate your capital gains, you need to enter a date of disposition in 2024 on your T5008 slip(s). But I DID enter all the dates of disposition! Is this another one where I have to fudge the dates to show prior to June 2024? Sigh.
This would go in would go into the Inventory section.

"I paid for payout to be put into the bank..."   You did not pay any extra fee to have a direct deposit.   If you paid a "refund processing fee" that fee was to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund instead of paying your fees upfront using a credit or debit card.  There is never an extra fee for direct deposit.   The refund processing fee went to the third party bank that received your refund from the IRS, extracted your TT fees to send to TT, took the $40 for itself ($45 in CA) and sent you the rest----either as a direct deposit or as a check mailed to the address on your tax return.  The third party bank may have mailed a check to you if there was a problem with the direct deposit information you entered.
@MBroderick You can't claim income tax payments on your return unless they were instalment payments.

THANK YOU THANK YOU!!  NO where does it say that you will need TWO pins!  Why isn't the IP-PIN on the same page as the usual PIN.  I have spent so much time trying to get these taxes filed and FINALLY, you helped me.   Turbo Tax is not what it used to be......I've probably used it for 20 years and this year has been the worst.  Not sure I'll get it next year.  Any suggestions of others?   Again, THANK YOU!  and Happy Easter!

You can only transfer info from the previous year when you start the return. You can't do it after you've already started to enter information.

Who is the check from?   The Treasury Dept or IRS or your state or the sbtpg bank?
That’s a new one to me.  Did they lower line 11 by the same amount they lowered 6b or lower line  11 more?
