I received a pension income in 2024 but it is not shown here and I need to add it, how is this done?
You can report the income on your S-Corp tax return but keep the documentation in the event that the IRS sends you a notice saying that you didn't report that income on your person return.

You will have to report your income from Form 1099-NEC on Schedule C.  The IRS considers this income as self-employment income. You don't have to name the business, you can use your name. The good thing is that you'll be able to deduct reasonable and customary business expenses from that income.   To report self-employment income, follow the steps below: Open TurboTax Select  Wages and income Select Self-Employment Schedule C:1099-NEC Answer Yes on the next screen - Did you have any self-employment income or expenses? Answer the questions on each screen, when you get to the screen - Let's enter the income for your work, select the for Scroll through the screens to enter the information. For additional information, refer to the TurboTax Help articles How to File Taxes with IRS Form 1099-NEC, Reporting Self-Employment Business Income and Deductions, and What self-employed expenses can I deduct?

Follow up question from a new user - we moved recently from our primary residence into our new primary residence. We are listing the old primary residence for sale, but are expecting to put in about 3k in repairs and 3k in staging of some appliances and furniture.    Do you have any thoughts about how to manage those costs for next tax season?   We also only lived in the house for about a year, but owned it for the past six. We sold a different home in early 2024 when I got left the service. Are we most likely subject to capital gains tax because of the recent sale and that we only lived there for a year?    Appreciate any insight, just trying to keep in mind what next year will look like.
I am at the submitting stage but need to go back to income auto fill. How do I do that

I can see my filed returns for 2021 and 2022 in "access your filed returns", and in "continue your return" I can see one that is almost done but not filed. I just need to access it to get a copy of my full T1 general. When I go to the one that is almost done it is asking me to pay for it again before I can save that. Help please!

Turbotax, you have let us down ENTIRELY on this. I got the T3 error when netfiling.  I had to the leave box 52 empty, total in 53. but I noticed that my tax owing went up.  Netfiled anyway as I am beyond frustrated at this point due to Turbotax not fixing this. 1) April 29th, should not have received error for T3 due to Capital Gains rule being cancelled,  T3 entry should not have allowed the box 52 and 53 mess.  2) Turbo Tax still calculated my tax as higher with the box 53 even though I don't make $250k. Why? 3) T5008 entry, still asking for capital gains incurred after June 25th and I presume higher taxes paid because of this! I dutifully put the transactions into the program,. WHY WASN'T THE SOFTWARE FIXED???? HOW DO I AT LEAST GET MY MONEY BACK AS IT WILL TAKE ME HOURS TO FIX THIS!!!! I am hoping that the CRA will fix this (yeah right) when they do my assessment.   I am really looking for an explanation on why this hasn't been fixed.  I know Ottawa caused all of this but there is no reason why this wasn't fixed.  Using Standard Version.  Did you only fix the expensive ones?
